Good Morning Hearers!
"Character is what you know you are, not what others think you are."
People like to use excuses to justify why they are the way that they are, but according to scripture we are made new – 2 Corinthians 5:17 – amplified translation says - 17Therefore if anyone is in Christ [that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior], he isa new creature [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit]; the old things [the previous moral and spiritual condition] have passed away. Behold, new things have come [because spiritual awakening brings a new life].
Many like to use past experience for a present reason – but, "Experience is not what happens to a man, it is what a man does with what happens to him." “Be more concerned with your character than with your reputation. Your character is what you really are while your reputation is merely what others think you are.” Character or reputation, which will have your attention today?
